Convenient, no frills stay

Good location and staff handled requests well.

The combined toilet, basin and shower room was inconvenient and some amenities weren’t refreshed before my stay.

It was central

The lack of communication and borderline rude. We booked the hotel because we were visiting sick relatives but had to change the dates at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. Booking.com allowed us to change as long as the hotel agreed, but the hotel was unresponsive. I had to call over 5 times to ask them to answer the email from booking.com to agree. Even booking.com could not get through to them. A couple of times, the staff that answered the call said they were too busy and to call back later or started to lecture me on the process even after i told them that we could change based on the terms in the website. When I called back during non peak time, no one would answer. After three days, I managed to speak to the manager and requested to check his email and answer whether they could accommodate the change. It was finally done in 2 minutes.

Location...closer to Mustaffa store and eatery placess....lady Receptionist forgot the name may be Musa... not sure with immense experience gave us the strength during our stay...infact other staff in the hotel their attitudes towards guests not up to the standards and not friendly ,may be they were stress and over work..

Overall okay for the price.

The staff did their best to make guests feel welcome. The room is tidied up whenever we come back, so that's a plus point. Breakfast is okay -- the noodles in the selection were a bit cold, but still edible. We tried to order other items but these were available only by lunch time. Takes 10-15min walk from the nearest MRT.

J8 wkd trip

Decent location in an old town house with outside dining. Provides bottles water and has very tasty Vietnamese rolls for breaky.

Room was a little poky, some of the amenities like toilet paper holder, could do with repair. Holder was floppy and paper roll kept falling off. Also couldn't open the window, so forced to rely on aircon which was noisy. I prefer to open a windrow .

Location can connect mrt green line and blue line, Many resturants nearby. value for money, room is clean and bed is comfy.

Smell of cigarette unbearable. You can smell it when elevator open at 2nd floor and in the room. Can't change to other room as fully booked. At lease hotel staff gave a room odor spray.

Slight disappointment

I appreciated the staff Hannah changed my room immediately as I went with my son, from twin bed to Queen bed. One more staff member I guess supervisor, listening to my comments patiently. WiFi is pretty good

The air conditioner is super noisy and turned it off by itself overnight. So, both of us couldn't get proper sleep there. Lastly, I didn't get the name of the staff at the breakfast area (seems to be senior) was very rude towards me while taking my order. I was really disappointed with her service .

Great location with lotsa restaurant in walking distance.

Great location where it's close to Bugis but overwhelmed by the traffic or crowds. Always a good start of the holiday with a bit of peace and calm.

Singapore is generally overpriced in terms of hotel rate. I hope it goes down and more affordable.

Debatable but fine as sleeping quarters

Issues resolved quickly during daytime.

Cleaning team finish at 5pm so if you had an issue you had to wait until the following morning, for us our toilet was blocked so this wasn't great... debatable cleaning standards and staff friendliness when confronted with problems. Breakfast was limited, a choice of 5 Vietnamese dishes not particularly suitable if you want a western breakfast.
